Terms of Service and Sale

Lowdeo is an online automatic clipping service: from a video (file, YouTube, Google Drive or Dropbox link), it finds the best moments and edits them into subtitled vertical clips, with the captions to post on each network. These terms govern the use of the service and the purchase of a subscription. By creating an account, you accept them.

Your account is personal. You are responsible for access to your email address, which is how you sign in. You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a legal guardian.

Without a subscription: an uploaded video is analysed in full and the moments found are shown with their image, hook and score, without being edited into clips or downloadable. A full edit of a video covers its first 30 minutes and can be watched with a watermark, without download. Results stay available for 7 days. A subscription edits the clips found and opens downloads, the editor and sending to your phone. A cap of three analyses per 24 hours applies to prevent abuse.

Three subscription plans. All of them give access to the full clipping: 1080 x 1920 clip downloads, captions for each network, send to phone, clip editor, and no “Made with lowdeo.com” mark on clips made during the subscription. They differ by the number of credits, the maximum video length, the available formats and credit rollover.

• Creator: 150 to 1,500 credits a month, your pick, in tiers of 150 credits, from $15 to $141 incl. VAT per month, or half price yearly, paid for twelve months (the yearly plan receives twelve months of credits when you subscribe), videos up to 1 h 30, batches of 10 videos, results kept 30 days, including videos edited before subscribing while they are still available.
• Professional: 150 to 1,500 credits a month, your pick, in tiers of 150 credits, from $20 to $190 incl. VAT per month, or half price yearly, paid for twelve months (the yearly plan receives twelve months of credits when you subscribe), videos up to 3 h, batches of 20 videos, results kept 30 days, including videos edited before subscribing while they are still available. Satisfying Split and Blur Fill formats, and unused credits rolled over to the next month.
• Business: price and volume on quote, 1,050 credits per month, videos up to 3 h, batches of 30 videos, results kept for 30 days, including videos edited before you subscribed as long as they are still available. One credit is worth one minute of footage. A video shorter than a minute costs one credit; beyond that, started minutes are not counted (4 min 30 costs 4 credits). Re-rendering a clip or a video costs one credit per started minute of what is re-rendered; fixing a cut or a subtitle typo stays free. A failed video is not counted. Credits reset at each renewal; only the Professional and Business plans billed monthly carry unused credits over to the next month, up to one month of allowance, after which they are lost; a yearly subscription receives the twelve months’ credits at purchase, valid until the renewal date.

These limits may change; any reduction is announced at least 30 days in advance and does not apply to the current period.

Every account has an affiliate link. Someone who signs up with this link within 30 days of opening it gets 30 extra credits on their first subscription period. Their affiliate earns a 30% commission on the amount paid for each billing period of their subscription, for 12 months from the first one. Top-ups do not earn commissions. You cannot be your own affiliate.

A commission is confirmed 30 days after the payment that triggers it and cancelled if that payment is refunded. Confirmed commissions are paid monthly, by PayPal, once they reach $50, to the PayPal address given in the account. Affiliates declare this income themselves according to their situation. Lowdeo may refuse or cancel a commission obtained through fraud (fake accounts, misleading advertising, use of the Lowdeo brand in paid ads) and end the affiliation of the account concerned.

Whichever plan you choose, the subscription is monthly or yearly, paid in advance by card through Stripe, in US dollars (an account already billed in euros stays in euros), and renews automatically at each billing date. An invoice is sent for every charge, which appears under the descriptor LOWDEO on your bank statement. You can switch from monthly to yearly, and back, from your subscription management area. Subscribers can buy credit top-ups (45 credits for $9, 100 credits for $19, 175 credits for $29, 500 credits for $69, one-time payment): they add to the monthly allowance, are valid for 12 months from the latest purchase, and are not refundable once used. If a payment fails, access is suspended after Stripe’s reminders and the account falls back to no-subscription mode: your already edited videos remain available until their deletion date, but you can no longer upload new ones.

You can cancel at any time from your account, with the “Cancel my subscription” button: you may say why you are leaving, then confirm. The cancellation is confirmed by email with its effective date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; no prorated refund is made.

Because the service is provided immediately after you subscribe, you expressly request that it begin before the end of the statutory 14-day withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose this right from the first download made with the subscription.

Refunds: a subscription period that has started is not refunded, not even pro rata. If a fault on Lowdeo’s side kept you from using the service, email support@lowdeo.com within 14 days of the payment: the request is reviewed and, if justified, the amount is refunded to the original payment method. A failed edit or clip is never deducted from your credits.

You remain the owner of the videos you upload and of the edited videos. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the content you upload and you agree not to upload unlawful content. Lowdeo does not use your videos to train models or for any purpose other than the edit you requested.

The original file is kept for 7 days after the edit, so you can re-run it with other settings or correct the cuts, then deleted. The edited video and its subtitles remain available for 7 days without a subscription, then 30, 30 or 30 days depending on the plan (Creator, Professional, Business), before automatic deletion. It is up to you to download the result within that time.

Catalogue videos: the videos offered under “Or pick a video” are public videos by their creators, shown so you can try Lowdeo; their rights remain with their creators. Posting a clip from a video that isn’t yours requires the rights holder’s permission, for example through a clipping campaign. A rights holder can ask for a video to be removed at support@lowdeo.com.

The edit is automatic: silence detection, framing and transcription may contain imperfections, especially with poor audio, several voices or highly specific vocabulary. We recommend checking the video before publishing. The publisher’s liability is limited to the amount paid over the last 12 months.

Estimates: the earnings and volumes shown in Lowdeo (views per clip, pay per 1,000 views, clips per month) are indicative estimates based on assumptions stated next to them. They are neither a promise nor a guarantee of results: your income depends on campaigns, platforms and what you post.

We do our best to keep the service running continuously, without guaranteeing permanent availability. Maintenance interruptions are announced whenever possible.

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action; you may also refer the matter to a consumer mediator.
